I beg most respectfully to state that I am a student of class 9 in your school.I could not attend my classes from 20^th to 22th March on account of a sudden attack of influenza.A medical certificate is enclosed in support of my statement.

I, therefore,pray and hope that you would be kind enough to grant me leave of absence for those days.I will be greatly obliged for your act of kindness.
